Upper respiratory infection is responsible for many life-threatening illnesses. RPP testing pinpoints a number of other respiratory viruses and pneumonia causing bacteria allowing physicians to treat quickly and accurately which can decrease the severity and duration of infection. COVID-19 can be ordered separately or as part of our RPP panel.

Using our molecular program we can quickly test for many different pathogens with a 99% accuracy rate.  Through PCR testing we also have the ability to identify pathogens when the patient is on empiric antibiotic treatment.
